Last Saturday, WBC middleweight (160 pounds) titlist Sergio Martinez (46-2-2, 25 knockouts) scored a shocking, HBO-televised second-round knockout over challenger Paul Williams (39-2, 27 KOs), who was ranked No. 3 on most lists among the best fighters pound-for-pound in the sport behind six-time champ Floyd Mayweather (41-0, 25 KOs) and eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KOs), the latter of whom holds the WBO welterweight (147 pounds) and WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) belts.

But even in victory, Martinez displayed his compassionate side, walking over and hugging Williams and giving him encouragement. In this FanHouse video, Martinez talked about his emotions after stopping Williams, as well as the potential for a third bout between the two.

Martinez is promoted by Lou DiBella, Williams, by Goossen Tutor Promotions, Mayweather, by Golden Boy Promotions, and Pacquiao, by Top Rank Promotions.
