In 31 games this season the veteran rearguard is averaging just over 22 minutes of ice-time per game (he's second on the team, trailing Kimmo Timonen by an average of eight seconds per game) and has scored four goals to go with 11 assists and a plus-six rating.
The bad news for the Flyers is they're going to be without their top defenseman for at least a month. The good news is they still have plenty of defensive depth and that the injury occurred in the middle of December as opposed to, say, the middle of April.
