Martina Hingis Marries Show Jumper Thibault Hutin in Paris

Retired tennis star Martina Hingis married French show jumper Thibault Hutin in Paris, Swiss celebrity magazine "Schweizer Illustrierte" reported. Hingis, 30, married Hutin -- six years her junior -- at a civil wedding on Friday.

"Our wedding came as a surprise for many, but it has been in planning long in advance," Hingis told Schweizer Illustrierte.

Hingis, a five-time Grand Slam champion has not played competitively on the WTA tour since 2007. Since her retirement, Hingis has been an avid horse owner and rider.
