Portland Trail Blazers all-star guard Brandon Roy will be sidelined for at least the next three games nursing his painful left knee. The injury has taken a significant toll on Roy this season and he has been forced to miss entire games and select periods of time due to the nagging injury. He will have the knee assessed again next week, according to The Associated Press.Roy was diagnosed with an arthritic left knee at the beginning of the season. When he has played thus far, he has often been put on a minute-limit per game by the coaching staff. It is likely Roy will be back on that regimen when he eventually returns to the lineup. The Blazers will continue to be cautious with the 26-year-old superstar, especially during back-to-back games.
