Video: Cows Cause Cycling Pile-Up During Criterium du Dauphine Race

These cows are big. And fast. And determined to give no quarter.

Cyclists at the Criterium du Dauphine encountered the herd _ determined to get where they were going _ late in the sixth stage of the race.

The cows made their way on to the road in single file but lost the formation a short time later, spreading out across the road and causing several riders to crash.

Neither cow nor man were hurt in the mishap.

Incidentally, Briton Bradley Wiggins of Team Sky won the eight-day race, a traditional warm-up event for the Tour de France.
