While not quite in the same league as ice-cold Sven-Goran Eriksson, Fabio Capello is often criticised by members of the press for not showing enough passion (read: not being English enough).Ofcourse this would be OK, if England performed well enough on the pitch but three years into his tenure the national team are still as frustratingly mediocre as ever.
So, how do you get the press back on your side?
Option one: Sweep away the old guard and replace them with new, hungry players who are capable of playing together as a team; win a major tournament - or atleast progress to the semi-finals; beat the Germans on penalties
Option two: stave of criticism by producing a cheesy video showing your support for boxer David Haye thus showing how passionate you are and how much you love Britain.
