Andy Murray Seeded Fourth in Scot's Latest Bid for Wimbledon Glory

As expected, Andy Murray has been seeded fourth for Wimbledon and the Scot is confident he can carry the burden of British expectation at SW19 next week.

The world No. 4 is bidding to become the first Brit to triumph at the All England Club since 1936 and he can head into the third Grand Slam of the year in confident mood following Monday's victory at Queen's Club.

Inevitably, Murray's title triumph has raised hopes of him ending his search for a major trophy - rightly so, after playing his best tennis of 2011 in London.

His fourth seeding means he will avoid having to face either Rafael Nadal or Novak Djokovic, who are seeded first and second respectively in accordance with their world rankings, until the semi-finals.
World No. 3 and third seed Roger Federer, meanwhile, is certain to be on the opposite side of the draw, which is announced on Friday, while former SW19 finalists Andy Roddick and Tomas Berdych are seeded eighth and sixth respectively.

The enigmatic 12th seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who pushed Murray all the way in Monday's Queen's final, and big-serving American 10th seed Mardy Fish are both dangerous potential last-16 opponents, with the pair extremely comfortable on grass.

Encouragingly, Murray is keeping his feet on the ground after "one of the most fun week's of his career" at Queen's and his relaxed mood bodes well for his chances.

"Winning Queen's didn't crank up my own expectation levels and that's what's important," he said. "We knew what the goals were for the grass court season when we went to Queen's and that hasn't changed just because I won there.
