The good news about Sergio Aguero is that he does not intend to complain about life in Manchester like another expensive Argentine striker at the Etihad Stadium has.
And the bad news about Manchester City's stellar signing of the summer? Well, so far there isn't any.
"Firstly I don't like very hot weather so on that side of things I will be ok. I'm sure I am going to
enjoy myself here and life will be fine," said Aguero in his first interview since his £38 million switch from Atletico Madrid was finalised on Thursday.
That will come as something of a relief to those City fans who, despite his obvious talent, have grown tired of Carlos Tevez moaning about everything from the weather to the lack of quality restaurants in Manchester.
It is quite clear from the way Aguero talks that he is ready to embrace his new surroundings and is relishing the opportunity of playing a role as City look to displace neighbours Manchester United as Premier League champions.
"My style has always been to fight to the death for every ball, to give 100 per cent in every game, be concentrated to the maximum in everything I do," he added.
"I think we are a team that in the future will be fighting every year to win trophies, and let's hope that it is a quite a few major trophies."
Although Aguero is expected to meet up with his new team mates this weekend in Ireland, where City are taking part in the Dublin Super Cup, manager Roberto Mancini may save the 23-year-old for the Community Shield showdown with United at Wembley on August 7.
Aguero played alongside Tevez in the recent Copa America tournament and may be rested for a few more days as he gets used to his new surroundings.
But there can be no doubt that La Liga's loss is the Premier League's gain as Aguero seeks to light up the top flight the same as he did in Spain.
"I think in terms of technique the Premier League and La Liga are similar," added Aguero. "Maybe the game is more physical in England and there is greater emphasis on tactics in Spain.
"From what I have seen on television there is a high level of skill here and the surfaces are very quick.
