Devoid of form and victories, the much-maligned 14-time major winner is now down the world rankings in seventh place.
His form has been such that the once-feared competitor is now widely viewed as simply another player hoping to try his luck at Augusta National.
It seems as though his reputation counts for very little, when you consider Ian Poulter's rcomment that he doesn't think Woods "will finish in the top five".
When that question was put to Woods in a media briefing at Augusta, he laughed it off and said: "Well, Poulter is always right, isn't he?"
When pushed further to see if he felt Poulter would finish above him, Woods's response was equally curt.
