Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes all played half an hour as David Beckham pulled on a Manchester United shirt at Old Trafford for the first time in eight years as they were beaten 2-1 by Juventus in Gary Neville's testimonial.Giggs, who is pushing for a start in Saturday's Champions League final against Barcelona at Wembley, set up the opening goal for Rooney, who also looked sharp ahead of the big game.
Beckham, Giggs, the Neville brothers, Nicky Butt and Scholes - the class of '92 - played together at Old Trafford for the first time since a 1-1 draw with Basle in 2003.
And even goals from Simone Pepe and Manuel Giandonato that earned the Italian side a victory did not ruin Neville's evening, with 42,000 fans in attendance.
Rafael and Anderson also came on for the final 25 minutes to sharpen their fitness ahead of Saturday's game.
