Wayne Rooney has been charged by the Football Association for the use of offensive, insulting and/or abusive language at West Ham and could face a two-match suspension.The Manchester United striker ran towards one of the television cameras after completing his hat-trick and swore directly at it.

But while the FA will be applauded in many quarters, they could also be seen to have made a rod for their own back.
Rooney has until 6 p.m on Tuesday to respond to the charge but if he accepts it he could will miss the Premier League match against Fulham and the FA Cup semi final with Manchester City.
If he decides to contest the charge he could face a hearing in London on Wednesday, ahead of the Champions League quarter final against Chelsea.
The England international had been expected to receive a reminder of his responsibilities by the FA over the incident at Upton Park.
