Australian paceman Brett Lee (L) talks with Kenyan batsman Collins Obuya (R)The Australian vice-captain Michael Clarke missed out on a century, falling for 98, but his was the crucial contribution as Ricky Ponting's side maintained their victorious run in the tournament.

The Aussies have not lost since 1999 and remain on course for a fourth straight success after their 60-run win, which also included half-centuries from Brad Haddin (65) and Mike Hussey (54) in his first appearance in the competition since replacing Doug Bollinger.

Brendon McCullum's brutal century sentences Canada to another defeat:
New Zealand's wicketkeeper-batsman made his first real impact in the tournament with 101 from just 109 balls to provide the platform for a 97-run victory to book a place in the last eight.

Without their captain Daniel Vettori, who is recovering from a knee injury, the Kiwis made light work of the Associate members as McCullum struck 14 boundaries. He was helped by some powerful late hitting from Ross Taylor, who struck six fours and five sixes in his 44-ball 74.

Canada were 4-2, but captain Ashish Bagai (84) and Jimmy Hansra (70) gave them some hope of chasing down their massive target before Jacob Oram's 3-47 put a stop to their challenge and the Kiwis' win was marred by an knee injury Kyle Mills, who bowled 2.4 overs before he was forced to leave the field.

Andrew Strauss rumoured to be ready to quit ODI game to concentrate on Test Match career:

The Mail On Sunday claim the 31-year-old England opener could play his final and record-breaking 61st game as captain in England's make-or-break final Group B game against the West Indies.

Strauss is rumoured to be ready to quit international one-dayers, along with Kevin Pietersen, to concentrate on his leadership of the Test side and Alastair Cook is being tipped as his probable replacement as captain, despite not even making England's 15-man squad for the World Cup.

Jamie Siddons looks to improve Bangladesh run-rate against the Netherlands:
Bangladesh coach Siddons and his team are on a high after their shock victory over England - but knows they have to improve their run-rate in the topsy-turvy Group B.

They are currently fifth with a net run-rate of -1.241, which is even lower than sixth-placed Ireland's -0.444. Bangladesh must beat both the Dutch and South Africa to cement a quarter-final berth in a tournament they are co-hosting for the first time with India and Sri Lanka.

A victory over the Netherlands would also see them through if England, who have five points, lose their last match to the West Indies in Chennai, but the unpredictable group could come down to run-rate, when sorting out the four teams that progress.

"If we play the two games well, the run-rate will take care of itself. The important thing is to keep winning. We are focusing on the Netherlands game. We have given ourselves every chance to be in the quarter-finals," said Siddons.
