After a few times out as a U.S. co-promoter, M-1 Global hosts its first televised, stateside solo outing on Showtime on Friday night. The event, M-1 Challenge XXIV, is one of four on a new TV deal as the European company tries to move past being known solely as
Fedor Emelianenko's promoter.
That day is still a while off though, as long as Emelianenko is around. And despite losing his second straight, Strikeforce expects to bring the Russian great back into the fold for a summer return, Strikeforce CEO
Scott Coker told MMA Fighting.
