Incredible.It wasn't a Barcelona team filled with reserves either. Andres Iniesta, Eric Abidal and David Villa all started for the Catalan side, making the heavy defeat even more surprising.
Still, Pep Guardiola didn't seem too concerned by the result.
"We are a bit behind on schedule for several reasons. However, I have a lot of confidence in these players and I know we'll play better in the league and the other competitions," Guardiola said.
"The Spanish Supercopa and European Supercup are pretty close, but we will improve in the upcoming weeks. The mentality of the players will make the difference. We need a bit more time. I know that there's not much more time left, but we'll be ready.
"We have to forget about this result and shift our focus to the upcoming games. This loss won't change anything for us."
